An
Introduction to Rush Poker at Full Tilt Poker
Rush Poker at Full
Tilt: Life in the Fast Lane!
I don’t know about you,
but I’ve been getting sick of playing the same
slow-moving poker games day-in and day-out.
Waiting for hands is so boring! Waiting for
slowpokes to run down their time bank is
aggravating! I wish there were a game that
played fast and full of action…
Oh
wait—there is! It’s called Rush Poker, and it’s
played exclusively on
Full Tilt Poker!
Full
Tilt rolled out Rush Poker as antidote to poker
boredom. The game is played at blazing speeds
and the action is unreal. Thousands of players
have made the switch from regular-paced poker to
Rush, and that number is growing by the minute.

How Rush Poker Works
When
you join a game of regular-paced online poker,
you simply sit at a table with 5-9 other
players. You play against the same opponents for
as long as you’re seated, for the most part. How
boring! How monotonous!
In a game of Rush, you’re
placed into a large pool of players. When you’re
ready to sit down, you’ll be placed at a table
with a random group of players from the pool.
You’ll play one hand against them, and
then—here’s where it gets fun—you’ll be removed
from that table, and placed at a brand new one,
with a brand new group of players.
To recap, once you join a
Rush Poker game, you will be:
1.
Placed in a large pool of players (often upwards
of 1,000!).
2. Seated at a table
against random opponents.
3. Dealt a hand.
4. Removed from the table
once the hand is over.
5. Instantly placed at a
new table, against new opponents.
Rush Poker allows you to
play more hands against a wider variety of
players. You don’t
have to worry about battling statistics gurus
with their PokerTrackers
and their HUDs. You don’t have to worry
about that guy to your left constantly
betting you. Every hand is quite
literally a brand new adventure.

Rush Poker: Speeding Up the Gameplay
In
addition to breaking the same-opponent blahs,
Rush Poker speeds up the game significantly. You
see, the whole point of the random-opponent
mechanism is to facilitate the “quick fold”
feature.
At a
Rush Poker table, you’ll notice a rectangular
blue button underneath your action controls.
It’s labeled “quick fold”, and it is a gift from
the deity himself. You see, quick fold allows
you to toss any hand you don’t want to play, at
any time. Even before it’s your turn to act.
Let’s
say you’re dealt 9-3 offsuit in middle position.
You’re a good poker player, so there’s no way
you want to play 9-3 offsuit. In a game of
regular-paced poker, you’d have to wait for
everyone before you to act in order to toss your
crap hand. In
Rush Poker, you just press
quick fold, and you’re outta there immediately.
Your hand will be folded and you’ll be seated at
a new table instantly. No more waiting, no more
BS, no more boredom.
The
quick fold option allows you to play an
incredible amount of hands in a short period of
time. Some players speculate that Rush Poker is
at least 3 times faster than a regular-paced
game. And this is just sitting in at one Rush
Poker table.
Rush Poker on Steroids: Faster than
Fast!
If
you’re so inclined, you can join a single Rush
Poker game up to 4 times. This means you’ll be
able to play 4 tables of crazy-fast poker
simultaneously. To sit in more than once, simply
locate your Rush Poker game in the
Full Tilt Poker lobby, and
click “join now” again. A new table will open
up, and you’ll be able to play even more hands
per hour.
Rush Poker Recap
You
can probably tell just from reading this article
that Rush Poker is a boatload of fun. There’s no
doubt about that. In Rush, you’re able to:
- Play every hand
against different opponents.
- Fold bad hands any
time you want.
- Get dealt new
cards instantly whenever you fold.
All the things that
were boring about regular-paced poker aren’t
even a factor in Rush. It’s no wonder the tables
are booming. The donkeys are out in full-force,
and it’s a perfect time to make the switch. Rush
Poker is the grinder’s solution to boredom; now,
playing 1000 hands per hour can be fun!
